The seniors progressed to the quarter finals of the championship with an easy win over St. Brigids on Saturday last. They scored an impressive 3-13 against St. Brigid’s 3 points. It was a great display from the whole team with plenty of good attacking football and good defence when necessary. An encouraging point from the league stages of the championship is the wide range of scorers in each game. It is a potent team when scores are coming from the full forward unit and even further back. We are paired now with Dromard for the quarter final clash which will take place over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of September.
The division 3 team will take on Dromard in Fr. McGee Park next Sunday, 26th August at 2pm.
