Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by clubs from the Irish language-speaking Gaeltacht areas of Ireland. We expect over 6,000 people will visit Maigh Cuilinn for the Comórtas between May 30th – June 2nd 2014.
This will be the biggest event ever in Maigh Cuilinn!
TG4 provides live television coverage of the finals that will be held on Sunday and Monday and these are also webcast world wide online. RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta provides extensive radio coverage of both the regional qualifiers and the national finals.
There are an number of other events associated with the Comórtas including An Cailín Gaelach, Handball, Trath na gCeist and an extensive entertainment programme.
