Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA Club PRO Notes

November 8, 2018

Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA

The league game against Cloonacool scheduled for last Saturday had to be postponed as both pitches were deemed unplayable. We now have two back games to be played with no rescheduled dates as of yet.

The minor game against Tourlestrane was postponed last week due to the weather and will now be played on Thursday April 16th in Nace O’Dowd Park at 7pm. This game is the final round of the league.

Our U-16 team had a good win over St.Molaise Gaels last week on a score line of 4.08 to 1.06. They were due to play St. Farnans on Monday April 13 but this has now been postponed because of the weather.

Our U-14 side are due to play St. Johns on Wednesday April 15th in Nace O’Dowd Park at 7pm.

Coaching for these age groups continues on Saturday mornings at 10am. There has been a fantastic turn out to date and there are further blitz games planned.

A Conditioned games workshop will take place in Tourlestrane on Friday April 24th with Mickey Moran. The club encourages all coaches to attend.  A code of ethics course will take place on the 18th and 19th of May in the Embassy Sligo from 7 to 9 pm.

Sligo U-15:

Good luck to Cristeoir Davey, Darren Coleman and Colin Marren who are members of the Sligo U-15 development panel managed by Tommy Brehony.
