Congrats to Michael and Myra O’Dowd, Carrowclare who matched three numbers to win €200. The numbers drawn for November were 18, 19, 27 and 36. There was no jackpot winner. Congrats to Scanlon Insurance, Tubbercurry who matched three numbers to win €200. The Jackpot now stands at  €5800.

Lotto On-Line: The club are delighted to launch their online lotto membership on our club website www.coolaneymullinabreena.com in conjunction with locallotto.ie. Anyone with access to the Internet can now become a member of Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA Club with a few clicks of their mouse. We plan to launch an email news service for paid up members later this year and we hope this will be useful for our members overseas.

Running a GAA club requires a significant amount of finance and the Lotto is our main source of fund raising. We greatly appreciate the support we have received from the community to date and we look forward to increased support from our expats in the future. The lotto is also a great opportunity to win a nice jackpot in these recessionary times. The current jackpot is €5,800!

We would also like to remind supporters that the new on-line service is principally designed to act as a facility for those away from home. We continue to encourage supporters who wish to be become club members to contact any current club official directly as this remains the most efficient and cost effective means of doing so. The club will benefit greater financially from this direct contact.

Club Meeting: A meeting will be held on Sunday November 16th in St. Nathy’s Hall at 8pm. This important get-together has been called specifically to draw up a plan for the club’s fundraising efforts in the coming weeks and months. We strongly appeal to club members to attend this crucial meeting.

Sympathies: The club would like to extend sympathies to the Coleman Family, Achonry following the death of Padraig Coleman last week. The Club also extends sympathy to the O’Brien Family, Achonry and the Kennedy family, Tubbertelly following the death of Jim Goulden (uncle of Des O’Brien and Marion Kennedy). Ar dheis Dé go raibh said.

Connaught: Congratulations once again to Eastern Harps on their fine victory over Ballaghaderren on Sunday. We wish them the best of luck in their quest for the Connaught title in a couple of weeks.
