Planning is
now at an advanced stage for the upcoming dinner dance to mark the silver
jubilee of the club’s junior double winning side of 1984. The presentation
night will take place on Sunday, October 25th in the Clarion Hotel
Sligo. There has been a great response to date with many already committed to
travelling long distances for the event. Tickets are now available priced at
€50 and bookings can be made through any committee member. All are welcome to
what promises to be a great celebration.
Old Photos:
We are
appealing for people to forward on any old club photos to allow us to update
our club history. Photos from 1984 are especially welcome. They will be copied
and returned.
Souvenir Programme:
To coincide
with the 1984 team re-union, we are producing a souvenir programme for the
event. Anyone who wishes to sponsor an advert in the programme should contact
Ollie Lee or John Marren.
Minor:
Our minor
team have qualified for the championship semi final where they will meet
Castleconnor. The game is fixed for Saturday Sept 19th at 4.30pm in Kent Park,
U-13:
Our U-13
