Intermediate:

 

Our intermediate side drew with St. Pats last Saturday evening at Nace O’Dowd Park. This entertaining encounter probably ended with the fairest result with the final score reading eight points each. Captain Shane O’Brien hit a late free to earn a share of the spoils.

U-14:

 

Our U-14 side lost out to St. Johns in the division two league final last Saturday in Kent Park. The team fought hard all the way through but were without any luck on the day. The final score read 1.12 to 0.7. Well done to the lads and management team of Bernie Finan, Kieran Finan and Barry Kivlehan. Best of luck to the team in the upcoming championship.

Division Five:

 

Our division five team drew with Castleconnor last Wednesday evening. They play at home to Shamrock Gaels on Wednesday June 2nd at 8pm.

 

 

U-12:

 

Our U-12 team lost out to Calry last week in the league. They play Curry at home on Tuesday June 1st at 7pm.

 

 

Sligo v Mayo:

 

Best of luck to Kieran Finan and the Sligo team and management in the Connacht championship clash on Saturday next. Tickets can be ordered from club secretary Leo Coleman on 087 4184102. Book by Thursday 3rd.

 

 

Player award:

 

Well done to U-16 club player Stephen Barrett who won the Juvenile Footballer of the year recently with St. Attractas secondary school Tubbercurry.

 

 

Kelloggs Competition:

 

The club is making an appeal to all supporters to collect the relevant Kellogg’s tokens from cereal packs relating to the ‘Field of Dreams’ promotion competition. Tokens can be given to any committee member over the coming two months. The winners of the competition will receive a prize fund of €100 000 to go towards improvements of local sports facilities.
