Intermediate:
Our
Intermediate team lost out to St. Michaels last Friday evening in round four of
league division three. The final score read 0.18 to 1.10. Team: B Finnegan, S Gorman, S Marren, C Connoly, R

National League Final:
Good luck
to the Sligo Senior team in the National League Division three final in
Division Five:
This year
our club has entered a second senior team into competition. The team will
participate in division five of the league and in the Junior B championship.
League games begin the weekend of May 1st/2nd. Any
players interested in getting involved can contact any committee member. This
venture will provide plenty of game time for all of our club players throughout
the coming months.
The Sligo GAA 125 History book is now available from club members. The
book is being distributed through the clubs in
U-16:
Our U-16 team had a fine win over neighbours Tubbercurry last Saturday evening. The final score was 7.12 to 2.13. They lost to Tourlestrane last week in round two of the league.
U-14:
Our U-14
team had a comprehensive victory over Ballymote last Friday evening. The final

U-12:
Our u-12
team lost out to Tourlestrane last Tuesday in their first league game. They
play Ballymote on Tuesday April 20th at 7pm.
U-8/U-10 Coaching:
Underage coaching for the current season has commenced for
the U-8 and U-10
age groups. Any parents in Coolaney or Mullinabreena wishing to introduce
their children to gaelic games in our club can contact Trish Gorman (087
6640846) or
John Marren (087 6777226). Our trained coaches provide a well organised and
enjoyable session every week with Blitz games due to commence in the
coming weeks also. Our mission continues to be about inclusiveness and increased
participation for all members of our club.
Club Meeting:
The next club meeting takes place on Wednesday April 21st in St.Nathy’s Hall at 9.30pm. All members are encouraged to attend with some important detail on the agenda this month.

Coaching Seminar:
A major sports coaching seminar for parents, coaches and
anyone interested in improving players and team performance will take place in
the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone on Monday the 26th April from
7pm to 10pm. An expert panel of leading Irish sports personalities
including Mickey Harte, Martin Carney, Mick Galwey, Darragh O’Sé, Mickey
McGeehin and John Maughan will participate at the first event of its kind
in Connaught. Tickets, priced at €20, are available from club secretary
Leo Coleman.
