Our Junior hurlers were in action in Emly last Sunday morning in the 3rd round of the County Hurling League. Even though we only had 14 players for the first half of the game our lads showed great work rate and commitment and went in at half time leading by 3 points 0-9 to 0-6. After a couple of late arrivals we were able to play the second half with 15 and ended up winning on a score of 1-15 to 1-12. The team on the day was: John Moroney, Jason Hayes, Willie O'Brien, Paddy Moroney, Conor Clancy, Cathal Mahony, Shane Gorey, Aidan Buckley, Tony O'Brien, Nicky Kearney, Richie Needham, Aaron Cronin, Keelan O'Neil, Neil Gleeson, Niall Keane, Ciarán Mockler.
Congratulations to Aidan Buckley who was part of the Tipperary Senior Football Panel who won the Division 3 League Football Final against Louth last Saturday in Croke Park and then lined out for the club less than 20 hours later in the County Hurling League.
