County Junior Hurling Championship 2010
There is nothing easy again this year for Kinvara junior hurlers in the County ‘B’ Championship. The group is:
Kinvara, Kilconieron, Castlegar, Ahascragh/Fohenagh, Portumna and Barna-Furbo.
(Top team qualifies for quarter-final, second and third placed qualifies for prelininary quarter-finals.)
This years manager is Thomas Kavanagh and he will have to use all his experience to get through this one. In saying that, if the lads perform like we know they can, then there is no reason why they don’t get through and even top the group. This years team should see a nice mixture of experience and youth, with come nice hurlers coming through the minor ranks.
Thomas recently revealed his two selectors. In Kevin Huban and Anthony Connolly, he has got two men with vast experience and knowledge, and they will add a lot to the table. Hopefully these three wise men can lead us to county junior success, last seen in the parish in 1975.
