Our 1st team travelled to Derry for the annual George Tees cup last Saturday. The City of Derry RFC hosted the tournament which saw our senior team play three games in a action packed day. The tournament saw teams come from right across Ulster along with UCC from Cork challenge for honors. It was an ideal warm up to the upcoming season giving new players a chance to make their mark on the team. Creggs won two of their group games but lost out to the eventual winners Coleraine. The tour made for a very enjoyable weekend and as well as seeing some of the old faces back, it was great to see some new recruits get stuck into the action.
