Crosshaven U12s continued their run of form with a dogged 1-0 win away in Carrigaline on Sunday. Playing on the fast moving all weather pitch in warm sunshine, Crosshaven were unlucky to go in at half time 0-0 after dominating the first half. A well deserved and long overdue second half goal turned out to be the winner as Crosshaven came away with a 1-0 victory. On another day the team could have won by a bigger margin but the bounce off the ball wasn't quite with the blues' strikers on the day. Fitness played a part in the warm conditions and the lads kept running to the end. Crosshaven's goal was never seriously threatened and the single goal victory was the least the team deserved.
