Death of Anastasia Doyle

November 8, 2018

Clonmore GFC would like to offer condolences to the extended family and friends of the late Anastasia Doyle who sadly passed away at her residence in Clonmore on Saturday in her 92nd year.

Anastasia’s late husband, Jim, was a founder member of the club in 1947. Anastasia herself was an enthusiastic supporter of the club all her life and she sponsored the Doyle Cup which is played for annually by u-8s. Down the years, generations of the Doyle family have been heavily involved in the club at all levels. Anastasia’s grandson James Doyle is the current Chairman of the club while Jamie & Ger are on the Juvenile Committee and several great-grandchildren play for juvenile teams. To them especially we offer our sympathies at this sad time. May she rest in peace.
