After a dour first half which finished level at 0—5 each Ballycumber improved beyond recognition with a few positional switches in the second half. Fergal Daly, Sean Hackett, Michael Egan, Karl Daly and Colm Quinn accounted for the first half tally. The second half started with a point from Colm, Keith Lawler added a smashing goal. Colm added two more points, to which Sam Lawler added a point. The Dunne brothers Peter and Ritchie from a 45′ increased the lead. Sam Lawler and Colin Daly scored a goal each and Ciaran Grennan finished off the evening with a well taken point. Tubber added three points from play. Team.
