Congratulations to Donaghmoyne on winning Castlewellan’s 8th Annual senior Ladies Sevens Competition.. In the quarter finals the worthy champions beat Raheny Dublin 8.6 to 1.1, and in the semi-finals they put Glen of Derry to the sword on a scoreline of 6.4 to 2.7.
In a thrilling final they met St Paul’s Belfast who give them a good run for their money running them closer that the scoreline suggests with their never say die attitude. In the end the champions came out on top winning 6.6 to St Paul’s 5.3.
