Preparations are well under way for Summer 2016 and participation in Tidy Towns competition. We continue to urge people to come on board and assist in any way; however small. Our main priority for the coming weeks is to tackle issue of litter: both in village and on approach roads. Litter has become much more prevalent this year: with street bins being used for household waste and major dumping of waste on all roads. Please encourage everyone to dispose of waste in an appropriate manner and make our village a place to be proud of. IT IS YOUR VILLAGE – LETS KEEP IT TIDY TOGETHER.
We would also like to thank organizers of Tractor Run for their generous donation of €315. We really appreciate your support and all monies will be put to good use around the village.
