Congratulations to ourvictorious camogie team who defeated Douglas of Cork to win the Munster senior camogiefinal on Saturday last in Bansha by 5-8 to 2-13. This was a very hard foughtaffair with the girls leading by 7 at one stage and then found themselves downa point with little time remaining but the true character of the team was againon show as they kicked on and got the scores needed to get in front andcapturing the title. Captain Mary Looby collected the cup on behalf of theteam. Well done also to Rosie Kenneally who won player of the match. The girlscan now look forward to the All Ireland Semi final in the new year.
County Junior B Semi Final
