Senior
Welldone to our seniors who defeated Burgess in a tough encounter in Templemore onSaturday last to set up a quarter final meeting with Toomevara. This was a veryspirited team display especially in the second half having gone down to 14 men. The quarter final will take place thisSunday in Semple Stadium at 3.30
Intermediate
Hardluck to our Intermediates who weredefeated by Moyne Templetuohy thus ending our interest in this year’s championship.We thank Lorcan, Michael, John and all the panel for their time and dedicationthroughout the year.
 
Junior A
Thisweekend sees our Junior A’s bidding to reach the Mid final when they playrivals Thurles Sarsfields A in Templemore at 11.30 on Sunday. We ask everyoneto come and support the team on the day.
 
Junior B Mid Semi final
Ourjunior B team qualified for the mid final with a fantastic display to defeatKnock in the semi final in Templemore on Friday evening by a score of 1-14 to1-9. This now puts them in a Mid final against neighbours Killea on the firstweekend in October.
 
Junior Football
Ourjunior footballers defeated Moyne Templetuohy by 2-12 to 0-7 to reach the Midjunior A football final. Well done to all involved.
 
Minor Hurling final
Ourminors are due to play the mid hurling final against Moyne Templetuohy. Thismatch will now take place in Templemore on Saturday 24th at 1pm.
 
U14 A hurling County final
Prideof place within the club this week goes to the history making under 14 team whocompleted a clean sweep of Mid and county honours in the under 14 A grade inhurling and football this year after they defeated Moyle Rovers in the hurlingdecider on Saturday morning last by 5-7 to 3-3. Three quick fire goals fromThomas Nolan set us on the way to an early lead and looked to be cruising butthe South champions responded in the second half and brought the margin back to5 points but every player played a trojan part as they held on to win. Welldone to all the panel who have been excellent all year and have done everythingtheir mentors have asked of them. Thanks to the management team of Kevin Nolan,Jim Kinane, Christy Nolan and Jim Mullen for their fantastic dedication andtime put into this great team. Special word of thanks to Mary and Helen whohave provided first aid all year.
 
Under 12’s
The12s are in mid semi final at 10:00 am Saturday morning of 24th Sept. in Littleton againstBoherlahan.
 
Under 8’s
Theunder 8s are playing the Maher Cup in Borrisoleigh at 10:30am on Saturday 24thSept. Text will issue regarding times to be there during the week.
