Drumcullen Advance to Leinster Final

Offaly Intermediate Champions Drumcullen had a facile 21 point vicotory over their Westmeath counterparts in the Leinster Junior Hurling Semi-final palyed at a foggy St Loman’s ground in Mullingar on Sunday.

 

Drumcullen laid the foundation for their success in the first half, scoring four goals to give them a comfortable 4-6 to 0-3 half time lead.  On the resumption Drumcullen again dominated and added a further 1-8 to their tally to qualify for a final meeting with John Locke’s on Kilkenny on Sunday November 28th.  Conor Gath was Drumcullen’s top scorer with 1-8 and the Offaly side could also afford the luxury of 11 wides.
