The 2012 EA SPORTS Cup Final between Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda United will take place on Saturday, 22nd September at Tallaght Stadium with a kick-off time of 5.45 pm.
The match will be televised live by Setanta Sports.
In the event of the scores being level after 90 minutes of play, then extra-time of 30 minutes duration will be played, followed by a penalty shoot-out, if required to determine the winners.
The venue was confirmed after mutual agreement with both clubs. The prize money for winning the EA SPORTS Cup has increased this season with €12,500 going to the winning club and €7,500 to the runners-up. Ticket arrangements to be confirmed in due course.
