Edenderry Ladies bow out of All Ireland Club Championship

November 8, 2018

Edenderry Ladies travelled to Omagh last Saturday to take on the home side St Enda’s in the semi final of the All Ireland Club Championship.

Despite the long journey and early start it was the Edenderry girls who started brightly and lead by 0-06 to 0-05 at half time. Edenderry had dominated the half however they shot 7 wides to leave just the minimum between them at the break.

A stirring second half by St Enda’s saw them take complete control of the game and the outscored the Edenderrry ladies by 1-07 to 0-01 in the second half to eventually win by 1-12 to 0-07.

Congratulations to all involved in the Ladies team this season. It has been a remarkable run and each player can be very proud of their achievements in 2010.
