Edenderry U10 Ladies

November 8, 2018

The Edenderry ladies under 10 team got their competitive season off to a start on Saturday morning last May 7th in the Edenderry GAA grounds against the Naas under 10 ladies team. The Edenderry team has entered the Kildare summer league which will mean the team can test their skills each Saturday for the next 7 weeks. 27 eager young ladies turned out for the home team and each and every one of them acquitted themselves very well in the game especially considering alot of the girls were playing their first ever competitive game. The game was played in 4 quarters of 10 minutes each and was under the guise of Go Games which aims to give all players as much playing time as posible. Each team had their period of dominance and won 2 quarters each which resulted in a draw overall.

The young ladies who played on Saturday were as follows:

Angela Brady, Niamh Brady, Jesse Brereton, Megan Callan, Kayleigh Denehan, Abigail Doyle, Tara Dunne, Shauna Farrell, Kiah Farrelly, Sinead Flynn, Shauna Furey, Ciara Johns, Alicia Kavanagh, Rachel Kelleghan, Rhea Kelly, Emily Lawton, Aoibheann McAndrew, Rebecca McDonnell, Ciara Moriarty,Jessica Maloney, Jasmine Mooney, Ciara Mulally, Ellen O’Connell, Lucy O’Neill, Rachel O’Reilly, Sarah Rickard Stephanie Williams.

A big well done to all the girls and a reminder that training continues each Wednesday evening at 6.30 in the GAA field.
