The U10s travelled to Ballinlough on Saturday morning for their last Go Games Regional Blitz and it was a very enjoyable day with the team playing three games. Despite being without a large number of players due to holidays and other commitments the team worked very hard and played as a unit and the future is bright with talent of this quality coming through the ranks. The panel on the day who all played with such pride and passion was Alex Kielty, Vanessa Kielty, Cameron Elliot, Louise Leonard, Jude O'Rourke, Cian Nolan, Dylan Scott and Casey Durr, with Casey being our “Player of the Blitz” with some some superb tackling, blocking and a never say die attitude. The Coaches plan to organise some blitzes before the County Blitz and details will be sent to parents via SMS.
The Club hosts Éire Óg, Shannon Gaels, Michael Glaveys and St Michaels in an Under 8 Regional Go Games Blitz on Saturday from 11am to 1pm. Anyone who is willing to assist with the preparation of refreshments for the visiting teams and parents is asked to contact any of the U6/U8 Coaches.
The August Club Executive Meeting took place last night (Tuesday) in the Clubrooms.
Confirmed Lotto results will be published here as soon as they are available.
