SENIORS:
Our Seniors fell short at the finalfence again in this Year`s championship. The game was a scrappy affair playedin poor weather conditions and it turned on the sending off of Paddy O`Connormidway through the first half. St. Brigid`s were 0-06 to 0-02 leaders at halftime after playing with the wind.
Elphin dug deep and had reduced the deficit to2 points midway through the second half. However a couple of controversial callson scores at either end of the pitch stopped Elphin`s momentum. St. Brigid`sfinally struck the killer blow with a goal in the last few minutes of the game.
The Club wishes to thank the squad,management, and all associated with them for a tremendous effort in reachingthe final again this year.
