The Seniors suffered a 2-11 to 2-14 defeat to Padraig Pearses in the Championship on Saturday evening. Thank you to the Parks Committee for having the venue in great condition ahead of the game, and thank you to all who helped out on the evening and also to Gordon Murray for providing the PA System. The Team travel to Kiltoom on Sunday to take on St. Brigids at 3:30pm and your support would be appreciated.
The Minors got back to winning ways with a 2-10 to 1-11 victory over St. Ronans in the Championship. Although down by 1-3 to 1-7 at half-time a much improved 2nd half performance secured the win. Training continues tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 7pm and their next game is at home to St. Faithleachs in Round 3 of the competition on Thursday at 7pm.
The Under 12s were defeated by Boyle in the Keenan Cup, their next competitive game will be in Division One of the Summer/Autumn League, which is due to get under way soon.
A special Coaching event will take place in the Orchard on September 5th and 6th (Friday evening and Saturday morning) for all Coaches in the Club, full details to follow.
