JUNIOR B:
Our Junior B teams first ever outing ended in defeat to St. Michaels in Orchard Park on Sunday. A solid opening halves work was undone on the stroke of half time by a Michaels goal leaving the half time score 0-03 to 1-03.
Elphin played some good football in the 2nd half with a fine John Lambert point and a well taken Paudge McKeon goal putting them 1 point ahead. However, Elphin ran out of steam and St. Michaels added 2 more goals to leave the final score 1-08 to 3-08.
