The Seniors suffered a 1-16 to 1-11 defeat to Roscommon Gaels in the League on Sunday. The Juniors host St. Ronans on Wednesday at 8pm and their Championship game against St. Michaels on Sunday is off as St. Michaels conceded.
The U-16s host Kilbride in Round 2 of the Championship on Sunday at 12pm. The U-14s are due to play Clann na nGael B in the Championship on Thursday at 7:30pm in Johnstown, however full details will be sent to parents via SMS as the date is subject to change.
The U-12s prepared for the upcoming Summer League with a challenge against Western Gaels.
This Saturday we will host Strokestown, Tulsk, St Croans and Shannon Gaels in a regional U-10 Go Games Blitz in the Orchard from 11am to 1pm. It is hoped that as many parents as possible will be there to cheer on their children in what promises to be a fun day out with the emphasis on taking part rather than winning, which is the ethos of Go Games. Refreshments will be served throughout the day in the Clubrooms and all are welcome.
The main work has been completed on the “Small Orchard” and it has now been seeded. We ask people not to walk on the pitch for the next 6-8 weeks while the grass gets established. More work will be completed in the area over the coming weeks.
Please note that for the foreseeable future the Orchard will be open to the public during the following times: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
