ROSCOMMON GAA MEMBERS DRAW 2010:

 Roscommon GAA has launched its Members Draw for 2010 with a total of €100,000 in prizes and a top prize of €50,000!!! Each club must sell a quota and Elphin GAA Club needs to sell 100 tickets. The Club will receive 20% of sales once the quota is reached and a higher percentage for all further sales.
    Tickets are €100 and the draw takes place on Saturday 17^th July. We hope you can support us by purchasing a ticket or by joining together with friends to buy one. GOLF CLASSIC:
  The Club is holding a Golf Classic on Saturday 3rd July in Carrick on Shannon golf club. All interested in taking part please contact Atty Hynes, Anne Rock, or Brendan Neary.

JUNIOR A:
 Our Junior A team won their final game of the Tansey Cup league stage against Kilglass in Kilglass on Saturday evening.  Elphin dominated the 1^st half against an out of sorts Kilglass. Ronan Beirne netted a good goal midway through the half to put Elphin in control and only for a hatful of missed chances the game would have been over as a contest at half time. Half time score Elphin 1-05 Kilglass 0-02.
  Elphin seemed to be on their way to victory but the introduction of Dermot Washington livened up the Kilglass attack. A Kilglass goal and a couple of points narrowed the gap but Elphin steadied the ship with sub Damian Donlon and John Conroy adding points went on to win on a score of Elphin 2-09 Kilglass 1-07.
