Elphin GAA AGM
Our AGM takes place this Sunday November 27th at 4pm in the Clubrooms. A number of Officers have indicated their decision to stand aside and nomination forms are available here or Club Secretary Una Killoran . All Club Members are entitled to vote on the day and all non members are welcome to attend the Meeting.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
Well done to the Elphin-Ballinameen U20s on topping their group and qualifying for the County Semi-Final by defeating Kilmore-Shannon Gaels on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-5.
The U14’s season came to a close with defeat to Strokestown in the Garda Cup on Saturday. Despite missing a large number of players they put in a big effort. Thank you to the players, the management team of John Willie Conroy and John Kelly and all who assisted throughout the year.
The U12s visited Zip-It Adventures at Lough Key Forest Park on Saturday. The group conducted themselves with aplomb and a great day was had by all.
A presentation of medals to the Elphin-Ballinameen U12s, U14s and U16s and last year’s Elphin U16 Team will take place in the Community Centre this Sunday at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.

Well done to our Set Dancers and Musicians who qualified for the Scór na nÓg County Finals on Sunday December 11th in the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone. Thank you to everyone who participated in and assisted with the hosting of the County Semi-Final in the Community Centre on Saturday evening.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 9, 15, 24 and 27. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Patsy Burke, Lahusk; Lorraine Flanagan, Carlow; Tara McNally c/o Joe Donlon, Anthony Moran c/o Olivers. The Jackpot now stands at €9,800 and the Draw will be held in An Bothar Rua. Entry is just €2, Draw Envelopes are available in local shops or click here to play now.
