ROSCOMMON GAA MEMBERS DRAW 2010:
Roscommon GAA has launched its Members Draw for 2010 with a total of €100,000 in prizes and a top prize of €50,000!!! Each club must sell a quota and Elphin GAA Club needs to sell 100 tickets. The Club will receive 20% of sales once the quota is reached and a higher percentage for all further sales.
Tickets are €100 and the draw takes place on Saturday 17th July. We hope you can support us by purchasing a ticket or by joining together with friends to buy one. Kellogg`s are are offering a prize of €100,000 in pitch developement to the club that win`s their “Field of Dream`s“ competition . To be in with a chance each club must collect tokens from special boxes of Kellogg`s cornflakes and crunchy nut. Our Junior A team had a hard fought win over Oran last Friday evening in Rockfield. Elphin had the better of the 1st half but Oran always posed a threat. Some wayward finishing form Elphin and a well taken penalty by Oran kept scores fairly close at half time.
Elphin managed to maintain their lead in the 2nd half and added to it to run out winners on a shoreline of 2-13 to 1-09.

U16`s:
Our U16`s were beaten by Kilbride in their league div. 2 game in Kilbride on Sunday. Final score Kilbride 5-07 Elphin 2-09.
U12`s:
Our U12`s had mixed fortunes in their league div. 2 games over the weekend. On Friday they beaten by Eire Òg on a shoreline of 7-11 to 4-06 in Orchard Park. But on Sunday they had a good 5-13 to 3-05 win over Western Gaels in Frenchpark.
