The Seniors host Clann na nGael in the League on Friday at 8pm. The Juniors continued their winning run with a 2-11 to 1-4 victory over St Croans B. The first half was a tight affair and the sides were level at half time. We started the second half well and two goals from Seánie O’Beirne sealed the win. In a good team display best for Elphin were John King, Dylan Shanagher and Seánie O’Beirne. They are away to Michael Glaveys in Round 5 on Saturday at 7pm.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up:
The Elphin-Ballinameen Minors defeat St Ciarans in the Championship by 4-15 to 1-9. They take on Kilmore-Shannon Gaels in Kilmore tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8pm.
Despite a good effort the U14 A team were defeated by Oran. They host Clann na nGael B on Thursday at 7:30pm.
The B Team have received a walkover from Roscommon Gaels B.
Elphin GAA Lotto:
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 5, 7, 11 and 25. The Lucky Dip winners were Olivia Kelly, Boyle; Seán Carney, Leixlip; Valerie Higgins, Raheen; Andrew Farrell, Karol Avenue. The Jackpot remains €12,000 and this week’s Draw will be held in An Bothar Rua. Entry is just €2. Envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now at here .
