Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 27th APRIL 2015

The Seniors got back to winning ways with a 1-11 to 0-9 win over Strokestown on Saturday evening. Their next game is in Round One of the Championship against Kilmore on May 9th. 

The Juniors return to action on Bank Holiday Monday when they host Strokestown at 2pm 

The Minors suffered an extra time 5-15 to 5-14 defeat to Roscommon Gaels in the Division Two Relegation Play-off on Friday. It was a great game and the players gave it everything they had and despite the defeat they look forward to the Division Three Championship and this level of performance will stand to them. They are due to play the first round of the Championship this Friday, Draw TBC, check back for updates.

The Under 14s face St. Faithleachs (away) on Thursday at 7pm. 

The Under 12 were defeated by Castlerea on a scoreline of 4-10 to 4-4 and played a 4-5 apiece draw with Oran on Saturday evening. Their next game is at home to Strokestown on Sunday at 11am. 

The Under 10s have been invited to take part in the Shane Kelly Blitz in Strokestown on Saturday, full details will be sent to parents via text. 

 
There will be no training for Under 6s and 8s this Saturday, it will resume on May 9th. 

There was no winner of Saturday's Club Lotto Jackpot, the lucky dip winners were Damien Cregg, John Willie Conroy, Padraig Moran, Carnamaddy and John Brady (c/o Coman). This Saturday's Jackpot is worth e1,600, play now at https://www.locallotto.ie/play.asp?LL_ID=321

Well done to our Scór Sinsear Quiz Team who finished a credible 10th place, in the All-Ireland Final on Saturday.
