Our seniors opened there 2010 Div. 1 O`Rourke Cup League campaign with a low scoring win against local rivals Kilmore in Orchard Park. Both sides appeared rusty after the winter break with scores hard to find. Kilmore were ahead 0-03 to 0-02 at half time. Elphin shaded the 2nd half creating more chances although Kilmore created a couple of goal scoring opportunities. However Elphin prevailed to pick up the 2 points. Final score Elphin 0-07 Kilmore 0-05.

JUNIOR B:
Our newly formed Junior B team is due for their first outing in Div. 4 on the 14th March against St. Michaels. Peter Scott and Gerry O`Rourke are taking on the management duties for the year. Any lapsed players that are interested in putting on their boots again please get in touch with the lads!!
U16`s:
Our U16`s were beaten by a stronger Michael Glaveys outfit on Sunday morning in Orchard Park. Final score Elphin 2-09 Michael Glaveys 3-11.
COACHING:
Reminder that the registration night for Level 1 coaching course is on this Wednesday 3rd March at 8.30pm in the county board office. This is for all club coaches that have completed their foundation course.
