Elphin GAA Update January 29th

Congratulations:

The Club sends best wishes to Paul Staunton who has been appointed Manager of the county U17 football team.

National Draw ticket

Tickets (sold and unsold) need to be returned to Lorcan Hanly or Sean Lenehan by the start of February so anyone with tickets is asked to please sell them ASAP. All income is retained by the Club.

Garda Vetting:

Can all coaches should ensure they are Garda Vetted, and have done a Foundation course (at least) & have attended a Child Protection Course. If you have any questions please contact John Kelly, Coaching Officer or Deirdre Kielty, Child Protection Officer.

Interested in becoming s Steward?:

The County Board has issued an urgent appeal for people to volunteer as stewards on match days in Dr Hyde Park. They need at least 40 additional stewards. Anyone interested should contact any club official for more information / email secretary.elphin.roscommon@gaa.ie .

Five Year Plan:

The club is holding a meeting on the 9th of February regarding a 5 year plan. We are asking for input from club members and non club members and everyone is are welcome to attend. More details to follow.

Elphin GAA Lotto:

There was no winner of this week’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The Numbers drawn were 12, 14, 15, 28. The Lucky dip winners were Noel and Helen Collins, Frank and Ann Marie Tiernan, Edel Hennessy, Brian Higgins. Entry is just €2 with Envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.
