Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 29th JUNE 2015

Second half goals from from Conor Sweeney and Fergal Tiernan gave the Seniors a 2-10 to 1-9 win over Tulsk on Saturday. They host Allen Gaels in the Leo Kenny Cup tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8pm. 

The Junior's League game against Strokestown was postponed, but they are in action in the Orchard on Sunday at 2pm against St. Croans in Round 2 of the Championship. 

Our minor team, missing a number of key players, suffered a 6-14 to 6-10 defeat to Western Gaels on Monday.
The U-16s were defeated by the narrowest of margins by Kilbride on Sunday; 4-13 to 4-12. They host St. Aidans in the next round on Sunday at 12pm. 
Best of luck to Aaron Brady, Enda Killoran and the Roscommon Under 16s against Leitrim in the Fr. Manning Cup tomorrow at 7:30pm in Pairc Sean, Carrick
The U-14s host St. Croans in the Championship on Thursday at 7:30pm and the U-12s continued their preparation for the Summer League with a challenge against Tulsk on Saturday last. They are away to Eire Og in that competition on Sunday at 11am. 
The U-8s had a very good at the Go Games Blitz hosted by St. Croans on Saturday, winning all three of their games. Many thanks to all the parents who brought children to Enfield. Their next Blitz is on July 18th and training continues in the Orchard on Saturday at 10am. 
There was no winner of last weekend's Club Lotto Jackpot, numbers drawn were 8, 11, 19 and 26. The lucky dip winners of €25 were Barbara Taylor, Scormore; Tom Nolan, Athlone; Gerry Dunne, The Old Post Office and Noel Feely, Creeve. A Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camp takes place in the Orchard from the 13th to the 17th of July.
