The Abbeycartron N.S boys team advanced to the county final with a great victory in a thrilling match against Cloonfad in Frenchpark on Friday. The Elphin boys showed great skill, heart and commitment and deservedly won their place in the final. The lads led by a goal at half time due to some great work and scoring by a skillful forward line of Dylan Shanagher,Dima Kelly, Oisin O’ Connor and Joseph Beirne. The midfield pairing of captain Luke Mollahan and Gavin Higgins were brilliant throughout, chipping in with some great scores and running their socks off.                                                                            The second half was very exciting and the Elphin backs deserve great credit for some super tackles and blocks.
