Elphin B 1-20 Kilglass Gaels B 1-10
The Juniors started their Championship campaign with a 1-20 to 1-10 win away to Kilglass Gaels B. It was a good, open game with excellent scores kicked by both teams. Every Elphin player did well but the “Man of the Match” title must be shared between Joseph Beirne and Dylan Shanagher whose point scoring was exemplary. The Club wishes a speedy recovery to Ciaran Beirne and Brendan Neary who both suffered injuries in the game. They host St Croans B in Round 2 on Friday at 8pm.
