CLUB MEETING:
Elphin GAA Club will hold a very important forum on Tuesday April 12th inthe National School from 8.30 – 10.30. This is to start a planningprocess to plan the future direction of the club over the next 5-10years. All areas of club activity will be revised andplanned for, including coaching, facilities, administration, Finance, Publicrelations, .We are inviting everyone in the community with an interest in thefuture of the club to come along on the night and help pave the way for thenext generation of footballers. COACHING NEWS:
Clubcoaches Jim Keane, Tommy Main, and Darren Traynor began their six week block ofcoaching in Elphin primary school last week and will be starting in Killina Schoolthis week to build on the club and school links and to ensurethat every child living in the Elphin parish is provided with theopportunity to play Gaelic football.
Theclub will be launching the GAA’s Give Respect Get Respect initiative with anunder 12s tournament, at the Orchard on Tuesday April 5th. Players tomeet at the pitch at 6.15pm.
The clubwill also be organising a trip to Croke Park for a major championship gamelater in the year for the under 12s and 10s teams.
