Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 4th MAY 2015

It's going to be a busy week in the Orchard with the Club staging four games and your support would be much appreciated. 

The Seniors host Kilmore on Saturday at 7:30pm in the first round of the Championship, the Minors host St. Aidans in the Championship on Wednesday at 7:30pm, the Under 16s host Kilbride or St. Croans in the League Semi-Final on Sunday at 12pm and the Under 14s host St. Aidans in the League on Thursday at 7pm. The Under 12s were defeated by Strokestown in their last game and take on Boyle in Abbey Park on Friday at 7pm. 

The Under 10s were due to play in the Shane Kelly Shield Blitz however it was postponed due to weather conditions. The first of their regional Go Games Blitzes takes place this Saturday morning at 11am in Strokestown and all players are asked to be there for 10:30. Parents are asked to ensure that their child brings a drink and a gumshield. In the interest of player safety the Club has a “No gumshield; No game” policy and further information on Gumshields can be found by clicking here

Coaching for Under 6s and 8s resumes on Saturday at 10am in the Orchard and parents are also reminded to ensure that their child brings a drink and a gumshield. 

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot, numbers drawn 4, 22, 23, 29. The Lucky Dip winners were PJ Caulfield, James Gormley, Seamus Cusack and John McDermott (Windmill Road). This Saturday's Jackpot is worth e1,700, play now at https://www.locallotto.ie/play.asp?LL_ID=321
