Congratulations to Shane Killoran and the Roscommon Under 21s on winning the Connacht title and the Roscommon Seniors on gaining promotion to Division One.
The Juniors made it three wins out of three with a 1-15 to 0-5 win over Clann na nGael C on Good Friday. Outstanding performances from Paul Kellegher and Christy O'Connor and good teamwork were key features of the game.
The Seniors began their League campaign against St. Faithleachs this afternoon (Monday) with a 2-16 to 2-9 win. They may have a game this weekend.
The Minors were defeated by Oran on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 3-13 to 4-9. Although both sides were missing a number of players it was a good, open, game of football which we led for long periods only to concede a goal with the last kick of the game. They play St. Faithleachs in the last round of the League next Monday evening.
The Under 16s are away to Western Gaels tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 6:45pm
The Under 14s were defeated by St. Michaels and their game against Kilbride was postponed. They play Kilglass Gaels/St. Barrys away on Thursday at 6:15pm.
The Under 12s warmed up for the upcoming League with a game against Western Gaels.
Training commences for Under 6s 8s and 10s this Saturday at 10am in the Orchard and new players are welcome to register on the day. All players are asked to bring water or a similar drink to training. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the sessions and Teas/Coffees will be available in the Kitchen above the Dressing Rooms.
