Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 7th JULY 2014

Last week the Club was informed that we have been approved to receive a Sports Capital Grant of €48,000 towards the cost of developing our new pitch. Well done to all involved in putting the application together. The grant is a great boost in our fundraising efforts to cover the cost of the project and further fundraising details will be announced at a later date. 

The Minors played Kilmore/Shannon Gaels in a challenge last night and Training continues in The Orchard on Thursday at 8pm 

The Under 16s had a comprehensive win over St. Aidans in the Championship on Friday evening. Their next training session is this evening at 7pm and their next game is not until the end of the month as they have a bye in Round 2 of the competition. 

Unfortunately the Under 14s were unable to field in last week's Championship game. 

The Under 12s defeated St. Dominics by 7-15 to 8-5 in a very exciting game last night (Monday). This was the last round game in the League and details of their next fixture is TBC 

There was no winner of last week's Lotto Jackpot. Numbers drawn: 4, 8, 18, 22. The four Lucky Dip winners of €25 each were Regina Hegoburo, Stephen Hughes, Ivan Rhattigan, Seán and Kathleen Martin.
