Our Seniors got back to winning ways on Saturday evening against Padraig Pearses in Woodmount. The final scoreline wasn`t a true reflection of the play as Elphin really should have had this game won by half time.
Elphin were 1-02 to 0-01 ahead after 15minutes after missing a host of goal and point opportunities. Pearses kept in touch with 2 more points before half time to leave the half time score Elphin 1-02 Pearses 0-03.
The 2nd half was a bit more even but with 10 minutes left Elphin had stretched their lead to 5 points. Pearses scored the final 3 points to leave the final score Elphin 1-07 Pearses 0-08.

The Junior A continued their winning form with a one point win over Creggs in Orchard Park on Friday evening. Elphin seemed to be well in control half way through the 2nd half , leading as they were by 5 points. However with the light fading fast Creggs fought back to leave the minimum between the teams at the final whistle.

LA NA GCLUB:
The club would like to thank everyone that helped make La nag Club such an enjoyable day. A great day was had by young and old. Activities began with games for underage players followed by an open air mass celebrated by Fr. Declan Brady and the afternoon was finished off with an impressive array of refreshments served in the club house!! Many thanks to Fr. Declan , the choir, everyone that supplied food for the day, all that helped tidy up Orchard Park and of course the organisers and participants.
