A black-tie gala dinner will precede the presentation of awards, set to take place at the Burlington Hotel on May 29th. This is a very prestigious event, & this year, it is being hosted by Darragh Maloney, with former Irish professional boxer Bernard Dunne, as the guest speaker. Also at the Awards evening, new inductees will enter the Irish Hockey Hall of Fame, an institution, which is now in its fifth year, honouring legends of the past from Irish hockey’s enviable hockey history, which stretches back to the 19th Century.
Make sure you don’t miss what is sure to be one of the highlights of the Irish hockey calendar for 2010 and honour the players, coaches, umpires, clubs and volunteers that have achieved outstanding success this year!

ESB Irish Hockey Awards - Greenfields shortlisted!

The shortlist of nominees for the ESB Irish Hockey Awards was released this week, & Greenfields are delighted to feature in one of the twelve categories.
Dora Gorman is a nominee in ‘U18 Female Player of the Year’. Also on the shortlist is Knocknacarra HC President, Ciaran Delaney, who has been nominated in the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ category.
