Cobh Wanderers Seniors beat Passage after extra time and penalties to progress to the 2nd round of the Umbro sponsored F.A.I. Intermediate Cup. After a 1-1 score line at full time, extra time couldn’t separate the teams. During a thrilling shootout keeper Pat O’Hanlon held his nerve and Wanderers won 3-2.
The Juniors were in action in the league against Brooklodge, lossing 3-1.
