November 7, 2018

Family Fun Day: This Sunday 2nd of September see’s us running our first Family Fun Day. There will be numerous activities on the day and fun for all the family.

The main spectacle for the day will be our Committee (wearing the tipperary colours) taking on a Senior Selection. This will be a bit of craic and should give all the spectators a good laugh.

There will also be a free BBQ on the day for whoever wants it.The Parent Child Triathlon will also take place on the day with registration on the day.

Other activities will include wellie throwing, Long Puc, Cross bar Challenge and numerous other activities.

We have also hired a Bouncy Castle and Slide for the day so this should keep the small ones entertained and some of the big ones also!

This is a new concept for us as a club and the only way this can succeed is if we all as a Club get behind it, and hopefully then it will become an annual thing. There will also be spot prizes through out the day.

All-Ireland U16: The All-Ireland Under 16 Hurling Tournament, sponsored by Tipperary Supporters Club, will take place this weekend.  On Saturday St. Flannan’s Park will host Group 1, involving Galway, Waterford and Offaly.  The group matches will start at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm.  The group winners will advance to the semi-finals, one of which will also be played in Moneygall at 4.30pm, while the runners-up will go forward to the shield semi-finals.  The finals will be played on Sunday in Semple Stadium.
