Barna Feile B team (U13) who beat Clonbur and St Michaels to win their division 3 Group and progress to the Galway semi final where they lost out to Salthill's Feile B team (U13) in the semi final played in Milltown Saturday evening. Salthill went on to win the Div 3 Final on Sunday.
The Barna Feile A team (U14) lost to Salthill on Friday night and followed up with a loss against Killanin and a win against eventual divisional winners Moycullen on Saturday morning in Killanin.
Thank you to all parents and supporters to got behind the teams in all the venues over the weekend and for the hospitality shown by Clonbur, Killanin and Milltown who hosted the various matches. Thank you also to Coiste Peil na nOg who make these competitions happen and the club appreciates their moving of the Feile finals to Sunday evening as a mark of respect to the Curran family.
A special thank you to A team (U14) coaches of Paddy Fox, John Bates and John Brosnan and to B team (U13) coaches of Declan Mahon, Eddie Forde, Leo O'Hara and Sean Naughton for all their work this year. It was a brave decision to enter two teams but justified in that 46 players in total got to represent their local community team in the Feile competition.'
