Rathmore played host to Kerins O'Rahillys in Round 2 of the County U14 Football League Div 3 on Wednesday last. Rathmore put in a strong team performance throughout and comfortably claimed the points on a scoreline of Rathmore 4-15 Kerins O'Rahillys 0-05.
Rathmore played into the wind …in the first half and a brace of goals from Paul Cremin along with a further two goals from David Dineen either side of half time reflected Rathmore's dominance on the scoreboard. Daniel O'Sullivan, Sean Cronin and Sean Clifford marshalled the defence, while Dan Murphy and James O'Keeffe made great use of possession throughout.
Rathmore continued to press forward in the second half kicking a series of good points from play, the highlight of these a long range effort from Nicholas Lawlor towards the end. A total of nine players got on the scoresheet. Rathmore's next match is away to Gaeltacht on Wednesday next, April 16th at 7.15pm
