GAA Action from week ending May 11th

Bertie Allen Cup

The seniors had a good win in the final Bertie Allen Cup game against our rivals Dromard. Dromrard were understrength but you can only beat what is in front of you and we chalked up 17 points which is a decent return. It was an all round good team performance with the scores nicely spread around the team. Final score (Dromard 0-5, Colmcille 0-17)

We now qualify for the final against Ballymahon. Check fixtures for details.

Division 6
The divison 6 had a good win at the weekend over Kenagh (2-14, 0-7) which keeps them third in the table.

Whats up next……

We are out against the Gaeles on Wednesday evening in the last game of the Div 4. We must win to stay in contention for a place in the final. Abbey and ourselves have both lost one game while the Gaels are unbeaten.

We are out in the second game of the All County League against Ballymahon on Sunday at Fr McGee Park. Kick off 2pm. At 3:30 we are out against Killoe in the Div 3B.

Hard luck to Declan(s), Noel and Enda in their defeat to Westmeath on Sunday.
