The Georgie Fitzpatrick Tournament.
The final game takes place in 2013 and is being organised by Parnell’s GAA Dublin.
Due to clashes with the National Football Leagues IN 2012 the games had to be cancelled.
In order that this does not happen again, Saturday 16th February 2013 has been earmarked by the Parnells Club Dublin for the playing of the tournament, which up to this has been played out by the clubs representing Parnells, Monaleen, O’Currys and Kilkee. The venue will be the new sports complex at the Parnells grounds in Coolock, Dublin.
Contact has been made with St Senans and arrangements are now under way for the final year of the memorial tournament and it is hoped that the club will be in a position to field a strong team.
This is an excellent opportunity for the management to see what kind of talent is available for the coming season and good quality games are guaranteed, which should bring out the best in all players.
