Congratulations to the girls from Cloneen N.S. who won the Cumann Na Mbunscoil final on friday November 9th in Cashel. They beat Loughmore N.S. to take the title. In an entertaining game of football, Loughmore opened the scoring with a goal. Cloneen answered with a great point from Eímear Boland. Cloneen then went on to score a total of 5-17. Loughmore tried hard to break down the Cloneen defence but to no avail. Final Score on the day Cloneen N.S. 5-17 to Loughmore N.S. 1-0. The girls that scored on the day were Ciara O’Halloran, Ruth MacDonald, Orlaith O’hanlon, Niamh Keane & Eimear Boland. It’s ten years since Cloneen N.S. won a Cumann Na Mbunscoil title so there were great celebrations after the game. The team celebrated with a trip to McDonalds on the way home.
