The inaugural outing of the Dunshaughlin GAA Golf Society teed off on Saturday last in Royal Tara. Thankfully the weather was kind to us this time and Thirty-four enthusiastic golfers took to the course in search of overall glory. In the end experience told as Don McLoughlin cruised to victory with a magnificent score of 39 points. Runner-up was Gerry Keenan with 37 points while Cillian Finn took third place with 36 points. John Prenderville and Mark Devaney picked up the prizes for Front-9 and Back-9 respectively, while David O’Neill’s name came out of the hat for the bonus prize of a 4-ball in Royal Tara. Many Thanks to everyone who turned out and a big Thank You to Brian Reilly who kindly donated the prizes for our first event. Next Outing – Headfort, Kells on May 15th @2.30pm.
